We will be hosting an Internet Safety Roadshow on Thursday 22nd June 2017 at Newcastle Rugby Club!
The internet is an integral part of all of our lives and the age at which children are accessing the internet through a variety of devices is changing as younger children become more technically aware - leading to confusion and exposing children to possible danger.
All interaction with our community carries risk and young children can be ill equipped to deal with the particular dangers that present themselves on a virtual level.
Each Internet Safety Roadshow will address issues such as bullying, personal security and social media which will help children at a young age make good decisions based upon sound educational advice.
The roadshow will be a full school day event starting at 9.30am and closing at 2.30pm - attendance for teachers and children will be free of charge and is open to all Primary and Junior Schools and PRU's within the educational boundary of the roadshow venue.
