Children were given the opportunity to take part in structured group activities that encouraged them to discuss issues surrounding e-safety. Presentations from PC Gill Bell from Merseyside Police, Paul Leahy from Link2ICT, Clem Studholme from One Day Craetive, and Andy Tidswell from Discovery Education, helped to educate and entertain the children. Each school that attended the Roadshow was provided with goody-bags and free classroom materials.
The Everton FC mascot, Changy the Elephant, was on hand to greet the children. As well as providing a signed first team football for the raffle, Everton FC also sent club legend and Ambassador Graham Stuart to present the prizes. Schools were treated to multiple hands on learning experiences, including app controlled ‘Romo’ robots, a multi-purpose interactive touch screen, and a virtual reality headset (...two lucky schools were fortunate to be selected for the free tour, provided by Goodison Park Ground Staff!).
We would like to offer a special thank you to Graham Stuart, who was happy to sign autographs and pose for photographs with the schools – this was a nice touch from the Ambassador for family friendly Football Club.
