We had an amazing time at the Wigan Roadshow which was held at Wigan Athletic Football Club on Thursday 25th February 2016.
The internet is an integral part of all of our lives and the age at which children are accessing the internet through a variety of devices is changing as younger children become more technically aware - leading to confusion and exposing children to possible danger.
All interaction with our community carries risk and young children can be ill equipped to deal with the particular dangers that present themselves on a virtual level.
Each Internet Safety Roadshow will address issues such as bullying, personal security and social media which will help children at a young age make good decisions based upon sound educational advice.
The roadshow was a full school day event starting at 9.30am and the closing at 2.30pm - attendance for teachers and children was free of charge and was open to all Primary and Junior Schools and PRU's within the educational boundary of the roadshow venue.
